A family heirloom - a vintage Danish grandfather clock in impeccable condition was the inspiration for this mud room. We wanted this space to feel warm and inviting so we drenched the room in a beautiful green color, then layered on a sophisticated and whimsical woodland wallpaper that is not only complimentary to the rest of the home but cheerful and fun for the children and adults alike. Brass finishes, and natural accents tie it all together while the dark rug anchors the space and tones down the existing light colored flooring. Function is never spared in any space Noel designs, large double hooks on the wall behind the door provide ample space for coats, and backpacks. Then smaller hooks are seamlessly blended in under the shelf for hats, smaller bags, and whatever else you quickly need to have as you are coming and going. A shallow shelf is perfect for your keys or to set down your drink. Additionally a pantry cabinet was added to the space to provide needed storage.
